Fiji Cruising and Yacht Charters    No sailing experience required!

Cruising the sparkling emerald and sapphire waters of the Fiji Islands is not only a pleasure but a voyage back to childhood dreams of faraway places.

Panoramic views of coastal waters and distance islands suddenly come into view. Where shimmering lagoons beckon and tropical fish dance in your wake. And the climate is as gentle as the offshore breezes.

But this is only the beginning of cruising Fiji. From day and sunset cruises, to luxury yachts and motorboats with full accommodation, to chartered yachts for those who want to explore the beauty and mystery of islands for themselves, Fiji offers you a choice of how you sail the Pacific's most friendly isles.

All cruise lines offer their services for special charters and events. However, for those who have a burning desire to see Fiji their own way at their own pace, there are also captained - required because of the surrounding reefs - yacht charter services.

Fiji afloat has something for everyone. We can offer you luxury motor and sailing yachts, complete with airfares and pre/post cruise hotel accommodation.

Fiji's Climate
Fiji has no true seasons, although the period from May through to November is cooler and less humid than the rest of the year. 'Wet' season is from December to April. Wet season high temperatures average 30C (86F). The cool season average maximum is 26C (79F). Most of the islands have a micro-climate, meaning they have a wet side with rain forests and lush tropical growth, and a dry side with dry rolling tropical savanna. Rainfall is most often in the form of warm, sudden afternoon showers which go as quickly as they come. Visitors are often surprised by the common phenomenon of a brief tropical downpour followed by bright sunshine and dry ground only an hour later.

Fiji is free of most tropical diseases- there is no malaria or yellow fever in the country.
